An aid in the prevention and treatment of halitosis, gingivitis (bleeding gums).

Tooth and tongue discolouration may develop with use. This may be reduced by brushing twice daily with toothpaste. Discolouration can be removed by your denist or hygenist. Avoid contact with eyes and ears.

Occasionally a burning sensation and dulling of taste may occur at the beginning of treatment, but should reduce with continued use. If soreness or irritation of the mouth occurs then diluting the rinse and rinsing less rigorously may help. However, discontinue use if swelling of the salivary glands occurs. Please inform your doctor, dentist or pharmacist if you experience any side effects other than those mentioned here. Do not use if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. If swallowed chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed. Emptying of the stomach may be advised using gelatine, egg white or mild soap. Consult your doctor or dentist.
