Germoloids Ointment provides fast and effective relief from haemorrhoids (piles). It contains active ingredients to help reduce the painful swelling of piles, whilst soothing the itching and irritation, plus a local anaesthetic for effective relief from pain and discomfort.

What do the active ingredients in Germoloids Ointment do?

Zinc Oxide is an astringent which helps to soothe and protect the area around the back passage from damage and also has mild antiseptic properties.

Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic which helps to soothe swelling, pain and irritation and relieve itching.

The Ointment base acts as a lubricant to help the passing of stools and reduce the straining which is bad for haemorrhoids (piles).

What is Germoloids Ointment used for?

Germoloids Ointment is used to relieve the symptoms of pain, swelling, irritation and itching associated with haemorrhoids (piles).
Drug Interaction Precautions :

Do not use Germoloids Ointment if:

*You are allergic to the actives or any of the other ingredients listed

*You continually suffer from haemorrhoids or have severe haemorrhoids.

*You experience excessive bleeding.

If you are Pregnant or Breastfeeding

You may use Germoloids Ointment if you are pregnant or breast feeding as with all medicines at this time, you should discuss it with your doctor first.


Warning:

If you do not get better go and see your doctor.

If some Germoloids Ointment is accidentally swallowed, tell your doctor at once.

Most people using Germoloids Ointment find it causes them no problems. However, rarely some people experience increased local irritation, burning sensations or rashes. If you are concerned about this, or if Germoloids Ointment affects you in any other way, stop using it and talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
