Just mix and shampoo in, wait about 20 minutes and rinse off, before applying healthy shine conditioner.
Sensitivity Test
48 hours before you colour. Although it is rare, a small number of people may at any time, show an allergic reaction to hair colourants. So always carry out a sensitivity test 48 hours before each and every application. Just follow the steps. Unscrew caps from developing lotion and hair colourant. Mix one teaspoon of hair colourant with one teaspoon of developing lotion in a glass or plastic bowl using plastic utensils. Do not mix the entire contents at this time. Recap bottles securely. Wash a small area of skin inside your elbow. Dry gently and smooth on a little mixture with cotton wool. Allow to dry and do not wash off for 48 hours. If any allergic reaction appears within 48 hours, redness, irritation, swelling or a burning sensation, do not use this colourant on your hair.
Strand Test
48 hours before you colour. To preview the colour results and to check the development time, use some of the mixture from your completed sensitivity test. Perms, relaxers and the sun can affect your timing and results. Just follow the steps. Clip back dry hair at one side of the head leaving out a 1cm strand. Put on gloves. If using this hair colourant for the first time, apply the colour mixture to the entire strand. If you have previously used hair colour and are checking for shade matching, apply the colour mixture to the new hair growth only. Start timing, after 20 minutes wipe strand clean with a tissue. If not as desired re apply and develop for up to a further 25 minutes. For increased coverage of resistant grey hair on extra lightening, check frequently and leave for up to a maximum of 45 minutes. Shades 97, 98 and 100 are not suitable for covering high percentages of grey. Try a darker shade. When desired colour is achieved, note total time taken. Rinse gloves.

Always protect clothes, fabric and furnishings during the colouring process. Wear the plastic gloves throughout the entire application. Be sure your hair is clean and free of styling aids before you colour. For best results shampoo your hair the day before application. After perming allow at least one week and two shampoos / conditionings before colouring. If your hair is longer than shoulder length or thicker than average, you may need an extra box of Nice n easy rich conditioning colour. Use a shampoo formulated for colour treated hair. These shampoos contain less detergent and more moisturisers than regular shampoos to defer fading of your colour. Try Clairol herbal essences for colour treated hair with a unique blend of botanicals in mountain spring water. Shampoo or rinse your hair immediately after swimming. Chlorine left in the hair can accelerate fading, particularly if you are out in the sun. After colouring your hair, mark your calendar as a reminder for your 4 / 6 week re touch application.

Contains phenylendiamines, resorcinol, 1 napthol, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide, can cause an allergic reation. Sensitivity test advisable before use. Never use on eyelashes or eyebrows. Avoid contact with eyes, rinse eyes immediately with water if product comes into contact with them. If irritation persists seek medical advice. Never use hair colourant if scalp is irritated, sore or has any cuts abrasions, etc. Use the colourant mixture immediately after mixing and dispose of unused mixture straight away. Nice n easy is not recommended for significantly darkening bleached, highlighted or hair tinted to pale blonde. Nice n easy should not be used on hair treated with colour restorers or henna. Do not use on any other part of the body apart from the hair on your head. Keep out of reach of childen.
