Vicks Sinex Soother nasal spray has a decongestant effect on the mucous membrane in the nose and it is used to clear a blocked nose in association with a cold or sinusitis.

Before you use Vicks Sinex Soother Nasal Spray :

Do Not Use :

if you are hypersensitive/allergic to the active substance Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients contained in this product

If you are taking (or have been during the last two weeks) monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAO Inhibitors are used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and depression)

If you suffer from narrow-angle glaucoma

If you have had an operation to remove your pituitary gland

If the skin or mucous membranes of the nostrils are inflamed or have scabs

This product should not be given to children under the age of 6 years

Pregnancy and Breast-feeding :

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine

Driving and Using Machines :

No effect on the ability to drive or use machines has been observed

Possible Side Effects :

Like all medicines, Vicks Sinex Soother Nasal Spray can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Less Common : Sneezing, dryness or irritation in the nose, mouth and throat.

Rare :Restlessness, Fatigue, Irritability, disturbed sleep in children, effects on the heart, raised blood pressure, blocked nose, headache, nausea, flushing, rash and visual disturbances.
